At Sha’arei Bina, our approach to Art education is to enhance a learner’s well-being through the arts. We provide art-focused, student-centered learning that utilizes elements of neurolinguistics to inform and educate students through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic training. At Sha’arei Bina, we provide a studio environment that exposes students to as much art as possible, broadens the scope of their comprehension, and gives them balance between technical forms and processes, appreciation and culture, and how art affects health and physical well-being.

In grades 6-8, students meet twice a week. They learn the Elements of Art, Principles of Ensign, learn about Artists and Artistic Movements, and Color Theory. As the understanding increases with each grade level, we expand into increasing technique and ability.
