There are many changes afoot for the coming 2023-24 school year. To highlight some of these exciting new initiatives, we want to share some information with you. Mrs. Naomi Sprung, who has had an exemplary run as Shaarei Bina’s Head of Judaics, has stepped into the role of High School Principal. She will be working closely with the staff, students and parents to ensure an uplifting, educational and fulfilling high school experience for our girls. The High School under the leadership of Mrs. Sprung will be dynamic and transformed with a renewed sense of educational purpose.
Mrs. Sprung brings over 30 years of academic experience teaching elementary, middle and high school Judaics. Having developed and taught Bat Mitzvah Programs, adult education classes and teacher Professional Development seminars, created a myriad of Judaic curricula, and mentored teachers, Mrs. Sprung will utilize her multifaceted experience to enhance and deepen the academic excellence of our school. Her holistic approach to education, coupled with her deep love of Shaarei Bina and its students, will help each girl thrive academically and spiritually.
While Mrs. Sprung’s focus will be on the Judaics curriculum and student interactions, she will be assisted by Mrs. Ellen Schwartz who will work closely with both Mrs. Sprung for the High School and Mrs. Shoshi Morgenstern for the Middle school, ensuring the continued growth of Shaarei Bina’s General Studies program as well, under the leadership of Rebbetzin Esti Hamilton.
