Biographical Info

Rabbi Tzvi Berkson teaches Chumash, Navi, and Jewish History. Currently in his thirtieth year as an educator in the South Florida area, most recently Rabbi Berkson served as Secular Studies Principal at Mechina of South Florida. Rabbi Berkson received his Bachelors of Religious Education and Semicha from the Talmudic University of Florida. He has a Masters in Education from Nova-Southeastern University, and holds an active Jewish Educator’s license from CAJE Miami. He credits his continuous growth as an educator to his participation in numerous professional development programs, most notably the program of Standards and Benchmarks for the Teaching of Tanach. He is most grateful to have been the beneficiary of formal coaching and mentoring tutelage from several distinguished education experts. Rabbi Berkson finds great satisfaction in meeting former Jewish day school students that have grown into adult members of the South Florida Jewish community, including those who have wisely chosen SBTAG for their daughter’s education.
